When checking your tax transcripts the system can’t find your current year’s tax return. The IRS may have accepted your tax return but the computer has not started processing the tax return. Once the computer recognizes the tax return it enters the master file. Once the tax return has made it to the master file the tax return should post to the account transcript. The Account Transcript update after processing begins, but the return transcript takes a little longer to post.
