IRS uses code 1501 to indicate a direct deposit was issued between 1 and 2 weeks ago.

What to do next if you see IRS Reference Code 1501?

You need to verify with your bank that the funds were received.  If not you will need to contact the IRS to have the check reissued Call IRS at 800-829-1954 (toll-free) and either use the automated system or speak with an agent.
