- Tuesday Transcript Updates – Daily accounts are processed Friday, Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. Tax returns that follow Daily processing will see transcripts update on Tuesday mornings.
- Wednesday WMR Small Updates – Daily accounts are processed Friday, Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. Daily accounts will have a Where’s My Refund? Update on Wednesday mornings.
- Friday Transcript Updates – Weekly accounts are processed only on Thursdays. Tax returns that follow Weekly processing will see transcripts update on Friday mornings.
- Saturday WMR Major Updates – Weekly accounts are processed only on Thursdays. Weekly accounts will have a Where’s My Refund? Update on Saturday mornings.
- Holidays – No Processing on Government Holidays

- If your tax account follows a weekly processing cycle, you can expect to see transcript updates on Fridays and updates to your Where’s My Refund status on Saturdays.
- Updates to your tax transcripts could happen anytime between 12:01 am-11:59 pm EST each week on Tuesdays and Fridays
- Updates to your Where’s My Refund status could happen anytime between 3:30-6:00 am EST each week on Wednesdays and Saturdays
