🚨 IRS TRANSCRIPT UPDATES! 🚨
The IRS just rolled out some big changes in 2025! 🛠️

✅ New Refund Status Messages now live on the "Where’s My Refund?" tool
✅ Tax transcripts have been completely redesigned
👉 The new 846 refund issued code now shows a date 17 days out, not the usual 5!
💬 What does this mean? Some banks still deposit early, but others may hold funds until that date on the transcripts.

Are these changes just IRS upgrades… or are they tied to tax services promising refunds 5 days early? 👀

🎯 Let’s talk about it! Drop your thoughts below ⬇️

It’s April 15, 2025: The Final Day to File Your Tax Return or Extension! Don’t Miss Out!

Today marks the official deadline for filing your 2024 tax return or requesting an extension—and the IRS isn’t giving grace periods. Whether you're expecting a refund or owe the IRS, here's what you need to know before the clock runs out.

✅ What You Must Do Today
1. File Your 2024 Tax Return
If you're ready to file, make sure you complete and e-file your return by 11:59 PM in your time zone to avoid late-filing penalties. Paper filers should have their return postmarked by today.
2. Not Ready Yet? File an Extension (Form 4868)
Need more time? You can submit IRS Form 4868 electronically or by mail to request an automatic 6-month extension—giving you until October 15, 2025, to file your full return.
👉 Important: An extension to file is not an extension to pay. If you owe taxes, estimate your amount and submit a payment today to avoid late-payment penalties and interest.
💡 How to File for an Extension Fast
Use IRS Free File: Visit IRS.gov to file Form 4868 for free if your income is $79,000 or less.
Tax Software: Most tax prep software lets you file for an extension with just a few clicks.
By Mail: Download and mail Form 4868, postmarked by today.
🧾 What Happens If You Don’t File or Extend?
Failure-to-File Penalty: 5% of the unpaid taxes for each month your return is late—up to 25%.
Failure-to-Pay Penalty: 0.5% per month of the unpaid taxes, also capped at 25%.
Interest: Accrues daily on top of any unpaid tax.
Even if you can’t pay in full, file something today to limit penalties.
💰 Are You Owed Money from Previous Years?
If you didn’t file your 2021 tax return, today is your last chance to claim your refund before the IRS keeps it for good. Over $1 billion in unclaimed refunds is on the line. Median refund: $781, plus $1,400 stimulus for some filers.

Don’t leave your money on the table.
